Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. He shot to fame after his role as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred on 20 features, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition to his work as a character in the film, Qualls has appeared in over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls, who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly resilient fighter. The cancer relapsed 2 years after the diagnosis. The earlier treatment had a severe impact on his health as well as stunted development. At the time he started to take action, financial stability appeared to be his goal. He'd experienced poverty during his youth. He said in an interview that he stated that if I do not have the financial security or find myself feeling out of control in the world I will be miserable. He also reflects on his own childhood and wants to do something about the issue of the bullying. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said.
